These terms govern your use of checkyourpropertyvalue.com, a service of WithJoy.AI Inc. By using the site or requesting an estimate, you agree to them.
What this service is
Check Your Property Value is a marketing and introduction service. We match homeowners who request a property valuation with a licensed real estate professional working in their area, and we operate the email systems those professionals use to respond.
The estimate itself — the opinion of what a home might sell for — is prepared and provided by that independent licensed professional, not by us.
What this service is not
WithJoy.AI Inc. is not a real estate brokerage and does not list, market, sell, lease, or appraise property. We do not represent buyers or sellers and we are not a party to any transaction that may follow an introduction.
An estimate is not a licensed appraisal. A formal appraisal is a regulated document prepared by a licensed appraiser and is what lenders, courts, and tax authorities require. What you receive here is a market opinion. It is useful for orienting yourself; it is not a substitute for an appraisal, a home inspection, a title search, or advice from an attorney, accountant, or tax professional.
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial, or investment advice.
The agents
Agents in our network are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, or partners of WithJoy.AI Inc., and we do not control how they conduct their own business. We require them to hold an active license in the state where they operate and to comply with applicable law, but we do not guarantee their performance, their advice, or the accuracy of what they tell you.
You are under no obligation to work with the professional we introduce you to, to sign a listing agreement, or to buy or sell anything. Any agreement you enter into with an agent is between you and them.
Accuracy
Estimates are prepared carefully and in good faith, but property valuation is inherently uncertain. Values depend on condition, timing, buyer demand, and details that may not be known. Actual sale prices routinely differ from any estimate. You should not rely on an estimate as the sole basis for a financial decision, and we make no warranty that any estimate is accurate, complete, or current.
Using the site
You agree not to:
- Submit an address you have no legitimate interest in, or another person's details without their permission
- Submit false or misleading information
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect content from the site
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems
- Use the site or anything sent to you through it for any unlawful purpose
We may decline a request, or stop emailing you, at our discretion.
By submitting the form you are asking us to share your details with a matched licensed professional and to email you your estimate and, unless you say otherwise, the monthly neighborhood note. Every email includes a working unsubscribe link. You can also email us to be removed at any time. We do not collect phone numbers and will not call you.
Intellectual property
The text, design, and reports on this site are owned by WithJoy.AI Inc. or used under license. You may read, print, and share your own estimate freely. You may not republish the site's content commercially without our permission.
Fair housing
We comply with the federal Fair Housing Act and applicable state and local fair housing law, and we require the same of every professional in our network. We do not, and will not, provide different service, different valuations, or different agent matches on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, familial status, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Third-party links
Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WithJoy.AI Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunity, arising out of your use of this site, reliance on any estimate, or any dealings between you and a professional we introduced you to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Washington.
